Designing a Web Site With FrontPage
An easy way to start designing a website is to use a good
editor. It seems that people believe that the higher the price, the better the
editor (It all goes back to that old saying, "You pay for what you get!") which is not the case. A lot of people use MS FrontPage because
FrontPage Express comes with Windows 98, Internet Explore 4.0 and Higher. FrontPage 2000
comes with Microsoft's Office 2000 Suite.
In this tutorial we will go over some of the basic
functions of FrontPage like; opening a file, inserting text, the three text
editing boxes, Internet Explore Editing icon and FTP opening of files. Don't
feel
over intimidated by so many things to learn, because it's fairly easy and
we're going to take it slow.
You will be engaged and not ready to finish by the time I peak your interest with
all the creative and efficient ways of designing a website with FrontPage.
Note: This tutorial was created using FrontPage
2000 as an example. Instructions should be similar in FrontPage Express
and FrontPage 98, but some options may not be supported by the different
versions.
