Making Stuff Glow in PSP - Glowing Objects
|
1. Make a selection or paste one into the image.
|
2. Select Image>Effects>Drop Shadow. Choose the color you want for the glow.
3. Set the Drop Shadow options as follows: Vertical Offset=0 Horizontal Offset=0 Opacity=75 (in this example) Blur=6 (in this example). The vertical and horizontal offset both have to be set to zero, but the rest depends on the look you're going for. The higher the blur and opacity, the brighter the glow.

4. Apply the drop shadow, position the selection where you want it, and then deselect it. (Choose Selections>Select None.) You're done!
